KL international literature festival 07

We ran three workshops at this year's KLILF - our Exploring Narrative through Drama workshops at Silverfish Books in Bangsar sold out (three times over!) ..we really enjoyed meeting and working with all the cool dudes and dudettes from Sri KDU, Kolej Tuanku Jaffar, Victoria Institute and the KL German School..

benjamin zephaniah in malaysia

Benjamin is one of the UK's leading contemporary poets. His work for both adults and children has received international acclaim. After India and Sri Lanka he landed in KL for the final leg of a British Council tour. We helped coordinate some outreach performances with a couple of local NGO partners.. Events of such generous and heartfelt spontaneity are all too rare.. these memorable and unique performances will live long in the hearts and minds of all who had the good fortune to share in them..

play

is how we find out about the world around us, who we are, why we are and what we might become. It's how we acquire the essential skills we'll need later in life. In truth as humans, we never stop playing, we just get a bit serious and start calling it science, commerce, art and sport. We celebrate play in all its wonderful 'as it is-ness' and without apology. Its timeless value can be rejuvenating and refreshing for the young, the not so young and everyone in between.. ?
